Program requirements for the Specialist Program

If you entered the Pathobiology Specialist program before Aug 31, 2021

The Specialist program requires 13.5 credits, including at least four 400-level courses.

If you started the Pathobiology Specialist program after Aug 31, 2021

This is our new Pathobiology Specialist program requirements.

If you entered the Pathobiology program in the Fall 2021 academic year, you should follow these requirements. 

The Specialist program requires 14.0-15.5 credits, depending on the options selected.

 At least one option is required: 

  • Option A: Immunology (IMM340H1 and IMM350H1)  
  • Option B: Microbiology (MGY377H1 and MGY378H1
  • Option C: Anatomy (ANA300Y1
  • Option D: Metabolism and Signaling (PSL425H1 and PCL386H1) 
  • Option E: Research (LMP305Y1: Pathobiology Research Analysis and Project 24L/100P Coordinators: J Lee and S Smith) 

If you take the research project LMP305Y1, you still need to take an additional option of A-D from the list.
