Research Synopsis

Dr. Wilson's research program is focused on the development of computational and molecular technologies with a specific interesting in lung transplantation and esophageal adenocarcinoma.

We use cutting edge sequencing techniques including laser capture microdissection to enrich for specific histological regions of interest. We have been applying and developing methods for bulk, single cell and spatial RNA sequencing, whole genome sequencing, methylation profiling from lung transplant samples, esophageal adenocarcinoma tumour samples, and cell-free DNA samples.
