Anti-oppression in health care and sciences: a leaner-led virtual symposium

Day one: Friday March 12th, 5 - 7 pm

Day two: Saturday March 13th, 10 am - 12:30 pm

Organised by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Learner Equity and Discussion (LEAD) Committee in partnership with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Office of Inclusion and Diversity.

For all U of T learners, faculty, and staff.

U of T Temerty Faculty of Medicine learners will present initiatives and research that uncover and explore how to dismantle forms of systemic oppression in health care services, research, and education.

Join us in challenging oppressive and exclusionary social, institutional, and structural factors that create barriers, and in highlighting resiliency of patients and learners from marginalized communities.

Together we will create pathways to more inclusive spaces in health-related education and increase health equity.
