Clinical training and translational research

Explore our programs in Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology, Hematological Pathology, Medical Microbiology, Neuropathology, and Forensic Pathology.

As the largest of its kind in Canada, our prestigious postdoctoral diploma programs will allow you to pursue a career in Clinical Chemistry or Clinical Microbiology.

Spend one or two years training in a clinical specialty at one of our affiliated hospitals.

Programs in Cytopathology and Transfusion Medicine, accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Our Clinician Scientist Training Program allows you to pursue your MSc or PhD degree within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine while training as a pathologist or laboratory medicine specialist.

We offer a variety of placement options and electives, open to all students, to give an opportunity to advance understanding of clinical and laboratory medicine.
