Comprehensive Experience

We offer an extensive experience with our weekly academic half-day seminars. Our faculty present on diverse topics such as systemic pathology, clinical-pathological correlation, special techniques, medical/legal issues, ethics, quality assurance, lab management, career planning and critical appraisal.

Our robust and well-established system of formal evaluation fulfills the requirements of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the American Board of Pathology (ABP).

Diverse Research

With our remarkable size and diversity, we offer a fertile environment for extensive basic, translational and clinical research. We understand the importance of research and its impact on patient populations. Our trainees participate in our annual Postgraduate Research Day and we also actively support our residents who present at national and international conferences. In addition, our residents can embark on their MSc or PhD degree as part of the Clinician Investigator Program, which is also fully accredited by the RCPSC.
