Feb 14, 2020 9:00am to 12:00pm nCoV Forum

In response to the rapidly emerging 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation, LMP faculty have formed an informal Toronto 2019-nCoV working group in conjunction with the Toronto Invasive Bacterial Diseases Network (TIBDN).  An upcoming panel-based forum has been organized on Friday, February 14th, for members of a broad community of practice in microbiology, virology, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, public health and epidemiology. Potential collaborators focused on assay development, biosafety, interventions and other areas relevant to the 2019-nCoV response are welcome.  This half-day forum will focus on coordination of research strategies and resources and provide an opportunity for individuals to network, coordinate and plan both as part of a larger group as well as in breakout sessions on specific topic areas.

Panelists include:

Dr. David Fisman (DLSPH)

Dr. Allison McGeer (LMP, TIBDN, MSH)

Dr. Samira Mubareka (LMP, Sunnybrook)

Dr. Matthew Muller (LMP, Provincial Infectious Diseases Advisory Committee, Unity Health)

Dr. Beate Sander (DLSPH, IHPME)

Moderator: Dr. Robert Kozak (Sunnybrook)
